The City of Lyon has built a diversified network of partnerships with 32 cities all over the world, in the form of official agreements for cooperation in a number of specific areas, with the aim of reinforcing Lyon's presence abroad and enhancing its image. The City of Lyon also participates in other networks on a municipal, national and international level.
