Early childhood
The City of Lyon offers a wide range of childcare possibilities which enables families to choose the system best suited to their needs. These care centers are managed either by the local authorities or by approved associations.
In addition, other establishments offer recreational activities for children ages 4 to 15, either on Wednesdays (primary schools closed all day, middle and high schools closed at noon) or during school holidays.
