Saint-Clair park

Saint-Clair park is located on the right bank of the Rhone at Caluire, opposite Cité Internationale. It covers 4 hectares (10 acres), in the form of a promenade along the river and on top of the north ring-road which runs underground at this junction.

This project was jointly financed by the Lyon Urban Community and the Rhône General Council. It constitutes the final phase in the construction of the north ring-road and was designed by the landscape architect Alain Provost.

This new green space with seasonal flowers brings a brand new image to the city at this gateway to the metropolitan area. A footbridge is planned to link the two banks of the river, thereby facilitating access to Tête d’Or Park.
